How is Gooo different from a normal chatbot?
A normal chatbot only answers. Gooo adds a control layer around the answer: plan checks, dataset permissions, Safe Mode guardrails, usage tracking and evidence records.
What is Safe Mode?
Safe Mode checks prompts and outputs for risky patterns such as unsafe code execution, credential theft, hard-coded secrets, prompt injection and harmful requests.
What datasets are available?
Free Access includes starter datasets. Control Pro unlocks the stronger work datasets for software, advanced controls and evidence reports.
How are plan limits enforced?
Before an AI request is processed, Gooo checks the user account, active plan, monthly usage limit and dataset permission. If a request is outside the plan, it is blocked with a clear upgrade path.
Is Gooo POPIA compliant?
Gooo is built with POPIA-aware principles: data minimisation, clear privacy notices, user data export, usage records and evidence logging. It does not replace legal advice.
Does Gooo store my prompts?
Gooo stores workspace messages so users can keep chat history. Governance audit records are minimised and use hashes, previews and metadata where possible instead of unnecessary full sensitive text.
What is an evidence record?
An evidence record is created when Safe Mode or a governance policy blocks or flags a request. It records the reason, severity, dataset, model route and evidence ID for review.
Can teams work together in Gooo?
For launch, public pricing is kept to two simple options: Free Access and Control Pro. Teams can contact Gooo for assisted setup while the team workspace is being refined.
Is pricing in ZAR?
Yes. Gooo pricing is in South African Rand so builders and companies can plan without USD currency risk.
How does paid access work?
Paid access is unlocked only after secure backend payment verification. The Billing page shows the available checkout option and the datasets unlocked by Control Pro.
What AI models does Gooo use?
Gooo includes a built-in fallback layer and can route to approved model providers based on the user plan, dataset and safety rules. The public product focuses on control, not exposing deployment details.
Can I bring my own API key?
Yes. Gooo includes BYOK settings for provider keys. Keys are encrypted server-side before storage and should never be stored in plain text.
What happens when I reach my limit?
The dashboard shows monthly usage and remaining messages. When the limit is reached, requests are blocked with an upgrade message and a link to Billing.
How do I delete or export my data?
Use Settings or the Data Export page to request your data package. Some governance evidence may be retained for compliance and safety reasons as explained in the Privacy Policy.
